AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract job in Mokena, Illinois.

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) endorsement required
  • Minimum of one year of Special Education teaching experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher 

Job Details:

  • Location: Near Mokena, IL
  • Setting: Elementary Resource Program
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Start Date: August 24, 2026
  • End Date: May 28, 2027
  • Pay Rate: $50-$55 per hour
  • In-person position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Modify and adapt curriculum, lessons, and classroom materials to meet individual learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and student progress
  • Participate in and help facilitate IEP meetings with families and multidisciplinary team members
  • Create a structured, positive environmentt for students
