Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract job in Phoenix, Arizona.

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support the academic and social-emotional growth of middle school students in Phoenix, AZ during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview:
Provide specialized instruction and academic support to middle school students in a resource classroom setting, supporting growth in reading, math, and social-emotional skills.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including progress monitoring and documentation of student growth.
Assess student needs and utilize data-driven strategies to adapt instruction and support individual learning goals.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to promote student achievement and social-emotional development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Experience assessing student needs, developing and implementing IEPs, and evaluating student outcomes through effective special education practices
