Help students reach their full potential through meaningful instruction and support! Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide individualized services and foster student success in the Tempe, AZ area during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview:
Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while supporting academic, behavioral, and developmental goals.
Assess student progress, contribute to IEP development and implementation, and monitor educational outcomes through ongoing evaluation and collaboration.
Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment utilizing appropriate behavior management strategies.
Partner with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
CPR/First Aid certification and Crisis Intervention training
Experience developing and implementing IEPs
