Ready to help students start the school year strong? Cross Country Education is looking for dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in helping every student shine for the 2026-2027 school year in Lancaster, SC!
Position Overview:
Adapt curriculum to meet the diverse academic and functional needs of students with various disabilities, leading either Resource, Co-Taught, or Self-Contained classrooms across K-12 settings.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for caseloads ranging from 12 to 33 students.
Supervise assistants and implement specialized behavioral or moderate-needs strategies.
Partner with general education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate inclusive practices and monitor student progress toward annual goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field
Valid South Carolina Certification in Multi-Categorical (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe also accepted)
Prior experience working with school-aged students (Preferred)
