Schedule & Benefits
- Status: Full-time, school year employee (approx. 192 days per year).
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring & Security: Conduct routine patrols of the building, grounds, and parking lots; perform security inspections; and monitor student behavior in common areas (cafeteria, hallways, etc.) to ensure a safe and secure facility.
- Emergency Response: Serve as a first responder to safety, security, and medical incidents; administer first aid within the scope of training; and assists in facilitating emergency drills (fire, lockdown, etc.).
- Documentation: Prepare accurate incident reports and referrals; and maintain safety records and inspection documentation.
- Engagement: Maintain a visible, positive presence throughout the school to build relationships, mentor students, de-escalate conflicts, and deter unsafe activities.
- Operational Support: Assist with visitor management, operate school security equipment (cameras, radios), and perform routine building condition tasks (such as snow/salt management or litter removal) as needed.
