Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESAs) are designed to provide high-quality and innovative educational services to students and educators. There are 12 regional Cooperative Educational Service Agencies in Wisconsin. CESA 9 is located in Tomahawk, Wisconsin and serves 22 school districts in North Central Wisconsin. CESAs make it possible for schools, regardless of size, to work together to share staff and equipment, save money, and extend educational opportunities for all children. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to multiple schools within a designated region. They will facilitate special education referral, evaluation, IEP, placement, and procedures in compliance with local policy and federal/state regulations. They support students' learning and emotional well-being by working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students.
Performance Responsibilities:
Conduct educational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional development, and behavioral functioning.
Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to school staff and parents, contributing to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), 504 plans, and interventions.
Assist in the planning/presenting of local special education program recommendations or revisions.
Provide general assistance in areas such as special education processes, preparation for PCSA, etc.
Maintain student records, including special education reports, confidential records, records of services provided, and behavioral data.
Stay current with research, best practices, special education laws, and regulations, and provide instruction to school personnel through in-services, comprehensive training activities, and staff or department meetings.
Assist with direct services to special education students through referral/IEP process, instructional consultation, parent conferences, etc.
Communicate on an ongoing basis with the Director of Special Education and participate in scheduled meetings for special education referral/IEP team coordinators.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Wisconsin School Psychologist(7062) License required
Master's Degree required
A minimum of 4 years of experience
Familiarity with special education procedures, Wisconsin/Federal regulations pertaining to special education, and regional (CESA 9) forms and procedures.
Organizational skills, group facilitation, and positive management/interpersonal skills are also required.
Ability to manage a caseload spanning multiple districts while maintaining compliance with educational and professional standards.
Demonstrate strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, as well as an aptitude for integrating technology into the work
Valid driver's license and access to an insured motor vehicle, or other timely access to private transportation, to facilitate assignments to school districts, meetings, or other off-site destinations
Such other qualifications as the CESA 9 Administrator and the CESA 9 Board of Control may deem appropriate
