Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or the eligibility to obtain credentials as a School Psychologist
- Experience in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to work across two districts and manage tasks independently
- Familiarity with special education law, IEP process, and best practices in school-based interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 50-60 psychoeducational evaluations per school, delivering clear and actionable reports
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs and success
- Participate in meetings, contribute to IEP development, and assist with eligibility determination
- Provide consultation services to teachers and parents regarding interventions, accommodations, and student progress
- Support positive school climate initiatives and aid in crisis intervention and behavioral planning as needed
