School Psychologist – Elementary School | 2026–2027 School Year

Navra is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join an elementary school in Elmwood Park, IL for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment while making a meaningful impact on the academic, social, and emotional success of students.

Assignment Details

  • Assignment Dates: August 17, 2026 – June 2027

  • Schedule: 35 hours per week

  • School Setting: Elementary School

  • Grade Levels: Kindergarten–5th Grade

  • Caseload: One school building

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist license

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required

  • Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply if they hold a valid Illinois PEL

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services

  • Interpret assessment results and prepare written evaluation reports

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success

  • Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions

  • Assist with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and school special education regulations
