Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active, valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for state licensure
  • Experience delivering services in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education processes, and legal requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Expected Responsibilities:

  • Complete 50-60 evaluations per school, supporting both general and special education students in two districts
  • Interpret assessment data and write comprehensive evaluation reports with actionable recommendations
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor IEPs and interventions
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and problem-solving meetings as an educational team member
  • Provide direct or consultative services to facilitate student progress and well-being
  • Offer expertise on behavioral, psychological, and academic challenges within the school community
  • Maintain precise records and adhere to ethical, legal, and procedural standards
