Phaxis Education is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a supportive school district in Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced therapists and new graduates who are passionate about helping students achieve their highest level of independence and success in the educational setting.
Position: School Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Illinois
School Year: 2026–2027
Interview Process: Virtual
Evaluate students' gross motor skills and functional mobility.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' educational needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) License required.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Must be able to work onsite (virtual candidates are not being considered).
