Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course semester basis as needed. Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching disciplines and in trends in community college education. In addition faculty are expected to be active participants in departmental communication.Applications will be received and considered on a continuous basis. Review of applications will occur when an adjunct faculty need arises and will continue until needed positions are filled.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma with five years of current occupational experience in Welding.All Adjunct Faculty positions require excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills ability to write syllabi and exams ability to develop learning strategies curriculum and assessments as well as the ability to work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.Additional ConsiderationsPossess AWS certification andor formal education in a certificate apprenticeship program in Welding from an accredited school.
