Position Overview
As a School RN at TheraCare, you will provide direct nursing care to students during the school day in a variety of educational settings. Here at TheraCare, we offer Full-Time School Assignments, Daily School Assignments, and Trip Coverages. Key Responsibilities:
- \u2022Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- \u2022Oversee the school health office including triage, injury response, and wellness checks.
- \u2022Monitor student health conditions and respond to emergency situations.
- \u2022Communicate with parents, school staff, and agency supervisors regarding student care.
- \u2022Maintain accurate and timely health records in compliance with NYC DOE and NYS DOH guidelines.
- \u2022Ensure adherence to all public health protocols and nursing standards.

Qualifications:
- \u2022Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- \u2022At least 2 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, public health, or school-based roles.
- \u2022CPR/BLS certification (required).

- \u2022Strong organizational, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
