School Nurse - Student Services
A School Nurse provides comprehensive healthcare services to students and staff in a school setting, ensuring a healthy and safe learning environment. They perform health screenings, administer medications, provide first aid, carry out healthcare procedures and manage students with chronic conditions. Maintain students' vaccinations, medical histories, allergies and other paperwork. Plan and implement school health management protocols and procedures for routine and emergency situations. Additionally, they collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to promote student well-being.
Requirements:
* Strong interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, computer skills and ability to multitask
* Must have current registered professional nursing license in the State of Arkansas (RN preferred)
* Preferred clinical experience in a school, pediatric or community setting
