School Nurse Walsh Jesuit High School is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of students while supporting their ability to learn and thrive in a Catholic educational environment. This position plays a vital role in fostering student wellness, managing health needs, responding to medical emergencies, and collaborating with families and faculty to ensure students receive appropriate care. Primary responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing services, promoting preventative health practices, and serving as a trusted health resource for students, families, and staff through a lens of Ignatian spirituality rooted in our Jesuit, Catholic identity. Reporting directly to the Assistant Principal of Discipline and Safety, the nurse will provide quality healthcare services that support student success and the mission of Walsh Jesuit High School as part of the school’s Academic Administrative team. The work schedule for this 10+ month position generally mirrors the school’s academic calendar with the expectation that the nurse will work all days that classes are in session, including staff training and retreat days, and preparatory time before/after classes begin/end in the fall and spring.
