School Nurse (Non-Instructional)

Qualifications:
- Valid NJ School Nurse Certificate or eligibility.
- Valid Nursing License.
- Valid AED/CPR Certification.
- Required Criminal history background Check and proof of U.S. Citizenship.
Responsibilities:
- To promote health and safety in a school special education environment and provide health services to students, faculty and staff; to assist with the teaching of sound health practices.
- Conducts health services and screening programs as required by law.
- Provides daily medications and or emergency care in case of sudden illness and administers first-aid in case of injury to students or staff.
- Maintains up-to-date health records on all students for all individual and state reporting.
