Key Responsibilities:
" Provide direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and first aid
" Monitor and manage student health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies)
" Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and support IEP/504 plans
" Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and compliance reporting
" Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and healthcare providers
" Respond to medical emergencies and ensure a safe school environment
" Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school
Qualifications:
" Active VA Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
" Current CPR and First Aid Certification
" Experience in pediatric, school-based, or clinical settings (preferred)
" Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
