Position Details

SUMMARY:

To support K-12 students with mild to moderate mental health issues and provide appropriate referrals for students in need of more intensive services through the Community Mental Health system

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Licensed Master's level Psychologist or
  • A limited licensed Master's level Psychologist, under the supervision of a licensed Master's level Psychologist or
  • A MDE credentialed Master's level School Psychologist or
  • A licensed Master's level Professional Counselor or
  • A limited licensed Master's level Professional Counselor under the supervision of a licensed Master's level Professional Counselor or
  • A licensed Master's level School Social Worker or
  • A limited licensed Master's level Social Worker, under the supervision of a licensed Master's

level Social Worker or

  • Approval or eligible by the Michigan Department of Education as School Social Worker

Preferred:

  • Eligibility of the Michigan Department of Education School Social Work Certification
  • Experience working in a school environment
  • Experience working with youth
  • Experience working with families
