ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces daily
Empty trash and recycling; replace liners
Clean windows, doors, and interior glass
Set up rooms for meetings, events, and activities as needed
Assist with minor maintenance tasks (changing bulbs, tightening fixtures, reporting repairs)
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when needed
Secure buildings by locking doors, turning off lights, and checking alarms
Assist with snow/ice removal, grounds cleanup, and seasonal tasks
Follow all district safety procedures, including chemical handling and equipment operation
Report vandalism, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director or Principal
