Help shape the direction of your building

The School Improvement Team gives certificated staff a meaningful voice in setting building goals, planning professional development, supporting instructional growth, and helping guide curriculum and assessment decisions. This role is for educators who want to collaborate with colleagues, connect building priorities to practical classroom work, and help move student learning forward with purpose.

Terms of Employment and Salary

As outlined by and in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) of Nine Mile Falls Education Association (NMEA) and Policies and Procedures of Nine Mile Falls School District. CBAs and Salary Schedules can be reviewed from the Human Resources page of the Nine Mile Falls School District website at https://www.9mile.org/human_resources . The annual base salary for the position is in accordance to the Nine Mile Educators Association Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Collective Bargaining Agreement and Salary Schedules can be reviewed from the Human Resources page of the Nine Mile Falls School District www.9mile.org

Stipend: $1,676 for the 2026-2027 school year, paid in accordance with the NMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, Appendix B - Supplemental Salary Schedule.

Work Location: Nine Mile Falls Elementary

Nature and Scope of Job: (1 or 2 sentence summary of position)

This is a supplemental position to be filled by a current certificated staff member at Lakeside Middle School. The SIP Team evaluates student data, plans and leads building professional development, and communicates building goals among content and grade level teams.

Position Reports To: Heather Gamboa

Employment Period: 2026/27 School Year

Primary Job Functions

  • Actively participate in bi-monthly meetings
  • Communicate SIP team plans with grade level and content colleagues
  • Help plan and lead building-wide professional development
  • Maintain a balanced budget
  • Help establish building goals and benchmarks
  • Lead instructional growth
  • Lead curricular and assessment decisions

Contract Term: Continuing 0 Replacement 0 Supplemental X

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements (Traits, Education, Certifications, Experience, Training, physical requirements, etc.)

  • Current Certificated staff member at Nine Mile Falls Elementary School
