General Statement of Job:
This position, under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, provides delegated student health care services within the School Health Program as Unlicensed Assistive Personnel. The primary function is to provide care during the school day to students for illness, injury, and medication administration.The duties include, but are not limited to first aid, medication administration, asthma, allergy, diabetes, seizure management, covid-19, and flu screening and testing. Employees in this position are responsible for performing non-licensed, competency-tested, delegated activities in compliance with procedures, protocols, and documented care plans.
Essential Functions:
Emergency duty may be required, including working in Red Cross shelters or performing other emergency duties, such as responses to threats or disasters, whether man-made or natural.

CPR certification from the American Heart Association required. First Aid Certification required or must be obtained after hire.
