The following vacancy exists in the Branchburg Township School District

for the 2026-2027 school year:

School Bus Aide

Dates: September 1, 2026 June 30, 2027

Not to exceed 4.75 hours per day

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to assigned student(s) during transportation, including assisting with safely boarding and exiting the bus, and ensuring care and supervision in alignment with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Assist bus driver in supervision of students on the bus to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist bus driver in enforcement of rules of student conduct on the bus.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Transportation.

Compensation: $20.59 per hour

• Enrollment in the New Jersey Pension System is subject to term/status of the position.
