Your Role as a BCBA
As a key member of the special education and student support team, you will:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and behavioral drivers
- Design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide both direct and consultative behavioral support to students across settings
- Use data-driven decision-making to monitor progress and adjust interventions in real time
- Train, coach, and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff in behavior strategies
- Collaborate with special education teams, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing behavioral expertise to student goals and planning
- Support proactive behavior systems, de-escalation strategies, and crisis intervention when needed
- Ensure compliance with IDEA, ethical guidelines, and district/state regulations
- Promote positive school culture through evidence-based behavioral practices
What We’re Looking For
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavior assessment, and intervention design
- Familiarity with IDEA, IEP development, and special education frameworks
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment
- Passion for helping students achieve meaningful behavioral and academic progress
