Your Role as a BCBA

As a key member of the special education and student support team, you will:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and behavioral drivers
• Design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide both direct and consultative behavioral support to students across settings
• Use data-driven decision-making to monitor progress and adjust interventions in real time
• Train, coach, and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff in behavior strategies
• Collaborate with special education teams, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing behavioral expertise to student goals and planning
• Support proactive behavior systems, de-escalation strategies, and crisis intervention when needed
• Ensure compliance with IDEA, ethical guidelines, and district/state regulations
• Promote positive school culture through evidence-based behavioral practices

What We’re Looking For

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavior assessment, and intervention design
• Familiarity with IDEA, IEP development, and special education frameworks
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment
• Passion for helping students achieve meaningful behavioral and academic progress
