Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Supervision & Leadership
· Provide regular individual and group supervision to School-Based Support Specialists
· Coach, mentor, and develop staff to ensure high-quality clinical care and professional growth
· Conduct field visits in school settings to support staff performance, safety, and service quality
· Lead team meetings and promote a collaborative, accountable work environment
Client Care & Service Delivery
· Maintain a clinical caseload, including conducting intake and annual assessments
· Participate in and lead treatment team staffing to develop and monitor client goals and progress
· Oversee development and review of Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs), including updates and 90-day reviews
· Provide direct individual, family, or group interventions as needed to support client care
Crisis Intervention & Coverage
· Respond to client crises during business hours and participate in on-call support as needed
· Provide backup coverage for staff absences and high-need cases
· Support emergency interventions and ensure appropriate follow-up care
Documentation & Compliance
· Review clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with DMH and organizational standards
· Provide constructive feedback and implement corrective action when necessary
· Participate in quality assurance processes, case reviews, and utilization management activities
· Ensure adherence to privacy, confidentiality, and clinical records policies
Program Operations & Support
· Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
· Support program operations, including data tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring
· Review and approve staff travel and mileage for compliance and necessity
· Report critical incidents to leadership in a timely manner
Community Engagement & Collaboration
· Partner with schools, families, and community agencies to support student success
· Conduct outreach and home visits as needed, including during school breaks
· Deliver educational presentations to promote mental health awareness
Organizational Participation
· Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development activities
· Complete staff evaluations and participate in self-assessment processes
· Support organizational initiatives, program development, and continuous improvement efforts
· Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred
· Bachelor's degree in a human services field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required in lieu of a master's degree
· Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
· Knowledge of behavioral health systems, school-based services, and DMH standards preferred
