Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract role offers an engaging atmosphere in a vibrant educational setting, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference for students across all grade levels.

You’ll be working full-time (32 hours weekly) from September 2, 2026, through June 11, 2027, collaborating closely with experienced teams and helping children succeed in their communication goals. Your energy and skills will directly impact learners and create positive outcomes each day.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid Washington SLPA license (open to qualified travelers from other regions)
  • Prior school-based SLPA experience preferred but not required
  • Familiarity working with K-12 caseloads is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Commitment to supporting student growth and adapting approaches as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services under supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement individualized therapy plans for students within the K-12 population
  • Assist in evaluating communication disorders and documenting student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to optimize support
  • Maintain records and participate in team meetings as required
