This role partners with Project Managers, field teams, external project partners, and Scheduling Leadership to ensure accurate schedule updates, milestone tracking, schedule integration, and timely communication of schedule performance.The Schedule Specialist plays a key role in maintaining schedule integrity, identifying risks, supporting execution strategies, and helping align Concrete Strategies' internal schedules with owner, General Contractor, and Joint Venture scheduling requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development, maintenance, updating, status reporting, and analysis of project schedules for assigned high-value projects exceeding $50,000,000 in valueBuild and maintain internal project schedules using Microsoft ProjectReview, interpret, and coordinate external project schedules developed in Primavera P6 by General Contractors, Joint Venture partners, or other external project stakeholdersMerge, compare, and align Concrete Strategies' Microsoft Project schedules with Primavera P6 schedules from external partiesUpdate schedules regularly based on field progress, production tracking, installed quantities, and input from project teamsEnsure schedule logic, sequencing, constraints, and durations accurately reflect field execution plans and project delivery requirementsSupport milestone tracking and ensure alignment with contractual commitments, owner requirements, GC/JV schedules, and internal targetsCommunicate schedule updates, changes, variances, and potential impacts to project teams and Scheduling LeadershipParticipate in schedule review meetings and coordination discussions with Project Managers, field teams, GCs, JVs, and other project stakeholdersIdentify potential schedule risks and assist in developing mitigation, acceleration, or recovery plansMaintain accurate progress updates, including percent complete, installed quantities, productivity trends, and schedule performance dataAssist with preparation of schedule reports, dashboards, look-ahead plans, and executive-level schedule updatesSupport time impact analysis, delay analysis, and change management processes as directedEnsure consistency, accuracy, and reliability in scheduling data across assigned projectsUtilize company-standard scheduling tools and software to track, analyze, and report project performanceRequired Qualifications2–5 years of experience in construction, project controls, or scheduling-related rolesExperience scheduling concrete construction projectsExperience working with both Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectAbility to review, coordinate, and integrate schedules developed by external project partners, including General Contractors and Joint Venture teamsBasic understanding of construction sequencing, project lifecycle, field operations, and schedule logicStrong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively with project teams, internal stakeholders, and external project partnersAbility to manage schedule updates, reporting deadlines, and competing project priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting self-perform construction operationsExposure to CPM Critical Path Method scheduling conceptsFamiliarity with production tracking and progress measurement techniquesBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission critical, or complex concrete construction projectsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to interpret construction drawings, schedules, specifications, and project plansStrong understanding of schedule sequencing, milestone tracking, and schedule reportingAbility to compare and reconcile internal schedules with owner, GC, or JV schedulesStrong data analysis and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelWillingness to continue developing advanced scheduling, project controls, and schedule analysis skillsLocation / Candidate Market PreferenceThis role is preferably based in the St. Louis area. Candidates located in or near St. Louis will be prioritized.
