Job Description
The Patient Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in creating a smooth, positive experience for every patient who contacts our clinic. This position is primarily focused on answering phones, scheduling appointments, and supporting patients with exceptional customer service. Your friendly voice and organized approach will help keep our fast‑paced clinic running efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls and provide outstanding customer service
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments electronically
- Update and maintain accurate patient information
- Perform basic data entry and administrative tasks
- Support patients with questions about scheduling, paperwork, and clinic processes
- Assist with faxing, filing, and other office duties as needed
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, and thrives in a busy, team‑oriented environment.
This is a hybrid position. Initial training is conducted in-person and may span several months. Upon successful completion of training, employees have the opportunity to work remotely, provided they maintain an appropriate home office setup.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1+ years of previous medical front office experience.
- Excellent telephone skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Previous experience with medical software preferred
- Available and flexible with your hours
- Close attention to detail
- Time Management and Organizational skills
- Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
