    Pinellas Park, Bradenton, or Hillsborough, FL | 8-Week Assignment | 40 Hours/Week | On-Site

    Job Summary

    We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented PACE Scheduler to support our interdisciplinary care team by coordinating appointments, transportation, and communication for PACE participants. In this fast-paced administrative role, you'll ensure patients receive timely specialty care while maintaining accurate records and providing exceptional customer service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Schedule community specialist appointments for PACE participants in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate transportation for participant appointments.
    • Communicate professionally with providers, specialists, participants, families, and internal staff.
    • Maintain accurate scheduling information and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
    • Ensure all required documentation is sent to community providers before appointments.
    • Collaborate with the PACE Clinic, Leadership, and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to coordinate patient care.
    • Support continuity of care by communicating scheduling updates across departments.
    • Provide excellent customer service through phone and email communication.
    • Assist with Care Team Assistant responsibilities as needed.
    • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
      (or equivalent combination of education and related experience)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple teams

    Proficiency in:

    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Outlook

    Preferred Qualifications

    At least one (1) year of healthcare scheduling or administrative experience

    Knowledge of medical terminology

    Familiarity with CPT coding

    Medical Assistant Certification
