Bolzoni Group is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Flow Line Coordinator (Scheduler) who will positively influence our Materials Flow team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the smooth and efficient flow of components and materials, ensuring lift trucks and components are assembled with a high degree of productivity and efficiency.
You will play a key role in sequencing major components and final assembly to meet customer demand, expediting internal production flow, and maintaining accurate documentation to achieve build schedules. This position also oversees lineside inventory levels and safety stock in alignment with established targets.
Key Responsibilities
Production Flow & Scheduling
Analyze and coordinate forklift builds using SAP / Service Reference Manual (SRM) to achieve daily customer responsiveness and on-time performance goals
Sequence flow of major components and final assembly to meet customer demand
Commit trucks daily and monitor production flow to ensure efficiency
Maintain constant material flow throughout manufacturing
Material Coordination & Inventory
Provide quality components and materials based on production schedules
Monitor and maintain lineside inventory levels and safety stock targets
Track “short parts” using Stock Out Forms and communicate issues promptly
Ensure inventory accuracy and support build schedules
Resolve receiving discrepancies and error tracking forms
Manage obsolescence and minimize excess inventory
Reporting & Documentation
Run and distribute:
Non-Replenishable Kanban (NRK) reports and pick tickets
Sequencing reports
POS documents for fabrication and assembly
Monitor key reports:
Clear-to-ship
Backlog
Daily slot reports
Ensure accurate and timely documentation supporting production orders
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Senior Planner, Operational Buyers, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure continuity of supply
Communicate potential production issues to manufacturing supervision
Provide management with daily updates on product/material shortages and production activity
Keep management and marketing informed, maintaining 100% on-time delivery of re-promise dates
Customer & Service Support
Coordinate service orders and external customer requirements
Ensure timely ordering of kanbans for field service trucks and parts depot
Enter and manage Kanban orders in AS400 system
Maintain accurate and timely communication of truck re-promise dates
Engineering Change Management
Coordinate Engineering Change Notes (ECNs)
Work with Engineering to execute ECN breakpoints while minimizing obsolescence
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BS) with at least 1 year of manufacturing experience (required)
OR minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree
Experience in heavy equipment or large lift truck systems, preferred
Functional knowledge of: Demand Flow Technology and Assembly and fabrication processes
