GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The SBA & USDA Portfolio Manager/Credit Analyst is responsible for servicing and growing the existing SBA & USDA portfolio, as well as analyzing financial data on new and existing SBA & USDA loans in the assigned regions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 7 years related experience and/or training, and 7 years related management experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Required experience: 5 years of SBA underwriting/credit analysis experience. Must be familiar with the more recent version of the SBA SOP. Preferred experience: USDA credit analysis experience.
