DescriptionOriginate loans and offer products and services to business and professional clientele. Establishes, develops and retains customer relationships through referrals and business development. Responsible for development and maintenance of a loan portfolio and providing high quality, value-added client service.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform assigned duties in accordance with the Bank's Mission, Vision and Core Values; and provide the Bank's customers with timely, responsive and exceptional service in accordance with the Bank's customer service standardsTake time to understand applicant's business/managementProvide timely and responsive customer serviceProvide applicant bank products and services that enhance business successAccept credit applications; interview loan applicantsUnderstand SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), including origination, servicing and liquidationReview applications and credit historiesReview and analyze credit reports and financial informationEvaluate existing and projected company cash flowDetermine value of collateral; through review of appraisal, valuations, business financials, etc.Respond to inquiries regarding business and consumer lending and other Bank productsRecommend approval or rejection of credit applications within bank and SBA CriteriaMaintain existing customer relationships; develop and expand new customer relationshipsPrepare detailed, complete, loan presentations (Credit Memos) for new credit applications, modifications and renewal requestsMonitor loans through periodic reviews and documentation in conjunction with SBA Portfolio Manager and/or as requestedPerform credit checks and site inspections as requestedReview maturing loans, loan extensions and construction drawsCollect past due accounts and/or support SBA Operations Officer in the collection of accountsOversee loan documentation and processing including review and negotiationProperly maintain credit files including file memos updating the status of the client relationshipKeep up to date on government guaranteed lending requirementsMaintain knowledge of and compliance with banking regulationsBe knowledgeable of and promote all bank products and services through the referral to bank partnersUnderstand all internal Bank policiesPerform other duties as assignedAbility to utilize technology to communicate effectivelyRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, business or other relevant area; or equivalent work experience.5 years' experience in government guaranteed lendingProven business development skillsPreferred QualificationsThorough knowledge of credit services and other banking servicesThorough knowledge of lending policies and proceduresThorough knowledge of business cash flowProficient computer skills with collaboration and productivity tools including Windows-based operating systems and office suites (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); spreadsheet applications to organize data used for advanced data analysis; internet; email; and bank software.Effective oral and written communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
