We are currently seeking a dependable Trimmer Operator to join our production team. This position involves standing throughout the shift and flipping boards on a trimmer line in a fast-paced lumber production environment.
Rotate through various tasks within the assigned work area.
Flip and handle boards on the trimmer line.
Shovel, lift, and carry boards and debris while helping maintain a clean workspace.
Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
Ability to perform repetitive manual labor for extended periods.
Stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working around moving equipment, loud noise, dust, and outdoor elements.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus.
Experience in lumber production is an asset.
Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
Reliable with a strong sense of urgency.
