Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Saw Operator to join a manufacturing team in Catoosa. This position is responsible for operating industrial saw equipment to accurately cut materials according to production specifications while maintaining quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate industrial saw equipment safely and efficiently
Measure and cut materials according to work orders and production specifications
Inspect finished materials to ensure quality standards are met
Load and unload materials from saw equipment as needed
Monitor equipment during operation and report maintenance concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures
Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous saw operating or metal fabrication experience
Manufacturing or warehouse background
Experience using measuring tools and production equipment
Forklift experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE
