We are seeking an experienced Sauté Cook to join our culinary team at a busy, upscale Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Execute dishes on the sauté station with precision and consistency.
- Prepare sauces, pastas, and proteins to exact specifications.
- Assist with daily prep, station setup, and end-of-shift breakdown.
- Maintain a clean and organized station at all times.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working a sauté station in a high-volume or upscale restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, sauces, and Italian cuisine preferred.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to quality.
