Ready to lead spacecraft harness production from concept to delivery?

Imagine guiding an electrical harness from roadmap to launch vehicle integration—aligning designs with long-range business plans, navigating shared production areas, and reporting progress to customers. At Millennium Space Systems (within Boeing BDS), that’s the impact you’ll make on missions like missile warning and Earth observation.

Your mission

As the Level 4 Satellite Wiring Systems Manufacturing Product Lead, you’ll own a harness subsystem control account across one or more programs. Your charter: deliver qualified hardware against program dates while enhancing throughput and manufacturability.

How you’ll execute

  1. Prioritize and plan: Partner with PMOs and MPMs to rank deliverables; plan scope, proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and risks.
  2. Drive the flow: Facilitate work from demand entry through procurement, build, ATLO, and delivery—keeping the team focused on day-to-day milestones.
  3. Own performance: Manage EACs and EV inputs; perform variance analysis; implement corrective actions; update LREs; and maintain the historical cost/schedule dataset that informs baselines.
  4. Balance capacity: Align with Production Scheduling so shared production areas meet program needs.
  5. Advance the design: Create a product roadmap that maps to company strategy and authorize technical changes with Engineering.
  6. Lead technically: Serve as the recognized technical authority and performance manager; track subsystem TPMs; status deliverables to leadership and customers.
  7. Clear blockers fast: Identify risks/issues early and drive DR closure with engineering to keep the MFG floor moving.
