  • This role requires a senior, hands-on architect with deep expertise in Sales & Distribution (SD) processes, capable of defining scalable, integrated solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and clean core principles. The ideal candidate will drive solution design, cross-functional integration, and delivery governance in a fast-paced, multi-workstream environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP SD solution architecture across Order-to-Cash processes

  • Architect integration with key modules including FI (R2R), MM (procurement), PP, and external systems (PLM, MES, CRM)
  • Ensure alignment with S/4HANA best practices, clean core strategy, and global template standards
  • Provide guidance on complex business scenarios, including:
  • Variant configuration
  • Cross-border sales and intercompany processing
  • Pricing strategies, rebates, and discounts
  • Revenue integration with RAR
  • Oversee configuration, functional specifications, and development alignment
  • Support fit-gap workshops, design decisions, and solution governance forums
  • Lead resolution of complex defects and cross-functional issues during SIT/UAT
  • Review and approve test scenarios, integration flows, and business process validation
  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare stabilization

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive SAP SD functional and solution architecture experience
  • Proven track record in SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or brownfield)
  • Deep expertise in:
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle with Variant configuration
  • Pricing and billing processes
  • Delivery and logistics integration
  • Strong understanding of integration with FI (R2R), MM, and advanced finance processes (RAR, FSCM)
  • Experience in design governance, architecture reviews, and global template deployment
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable architectural solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Experience working in large, complex, multi-vendor environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industry (e.g., high-tech, engineered products)
  • Exposure to advanced scenarios, including:
  • Intercompany sales and drop shipments
  • Subscription or service-based billing models
  • Familiarity with SAP advanced tools (e.g., AATP, GTS, TM integration)
  • Experience with program recovery or stabilization initiatives
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery models
