Description :

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Service Management Consultant to support a program currently in the late design phase. This role requires a hands-on functional expert who can validate, refine, and transition solution designs into build-ready deliverables while ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design Validation & Refinement
  • Review and validate existing Service Management solution designs
  • Identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities in current design artifacts
  • Ensure alignment with SAP S/4HANA standard functionality and best practices
Functional Expertise
  • Lead configuration and design across SAP S/4HANA Service Management, including:
  • Service Contracts
  • Service Orders & Notifications
  • In-House Repair
  • Resource Scheduling / Planning
  • Service Billing and Integration with SD/MM/FI
  • Provide guidance on integration points with adjacent modules (SD, MM, FI, CS, CRM where applicable)
Build Readiness
  • Translate functional designs into detailed configuration specifications
  • Support development teams with functional clarifications
  • Ensure readiness for realization/build phase
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to confirm requirements and finalize process flows
  • Facilitate workshops to resolve open design decisions
  • Communicate design impacts and trade-offs clearly
Documentation
  • Finalize functional design documents (FDDs), process flows, and configuration rationale
  • Ensure all design artifacts meet project governance standards
Testing Preparation
  • Define test scenarios and support SIT/UAT planning
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, design, and test cases

Required Qualifications
  • 8 + years of SAP experience with strong focus on Service Management / Customer Service
  • At least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA SM implementations
  • Proven experience working in late design or realization phases
  • Deep understanding of:
  • S/4HANA Service Management processes
  • Integration with SD, MM, and FI
  • Strong experience with configuration and functional design documentation
  • Ability to work independently and drive decisions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience transitioning from ECC CS to S/4HANA Service
  • Familiarity with Fiori apps for Service Management
  • Exposure to Field Service Management (FSM) or advanced scheduling tools
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid SAP delivery methodologies
