SAP S/4HANA P2R Business Readiness Lead (FI/CO)/ Consultant

The successful candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, testing teams, and program leadership to ensure operational readiness and successful deployment of new SAP capabilities. This role is responsible for driving business readiness activities across SAP module launches, ensuring successful adoption, testing, training, cutover execution, and go-live stabilization.

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a SAP S/4HANA P2R Business Readiness Lead (FI/CO)/ Consultant for their Dearborn, MI location.
 
Responsibilities:

• This role is responsible for driving business readiness activities across SAP module launches, ensuring successful adoption, testing, training, cutover execution, and go-live stabilization.
• The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and Record-to-Report (R2R/P2R) processes, combined with strong business-facing consulting skills.
• The successful candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, testing teams, and program leadership to ensure operational readiness and successful deployment of new SAP capabilities.
• This is a highly visible role requiring exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
• Lead business readiness activities for SAP S/4HANA module launches and deployment milestones.
• Conduct readiness assessments and facilitate business process walkthroughs with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test execution, issue management, and business signoff.
• Partner with business SMEs, product teams, integration teams, and program leadership to identify and mitigate launch risks.
• Support change management and organizational readiness initiatives to drive successful user adoption.
• Develop training materials, readiness documentation, launch checklists, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive cutover planning, execution readiness reviews, and launch governance activities.
• Track and manage defects, open issues, risks, dependencies, and action items throughout testing and deployment phases.
• Prepare and maintain readiness reports, test evidence, issue logs, cutover documentation, and launch approval artifacts.
• Support go-live events and post-launch stabilization activities to ensure a smooth transition to production operations.
• Collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders to validate business processes and ensure readiness for deployment.
• Provide leadership and guidance throughout system integration testing (SIT), UAT, dress rehearsals, cutover, and hypercare periods

 
Requirements:

• We are seeking experienced SAP S/4HANA Plan-to-Report (P2R) Business Readiness Leads/Consultants to support a large-scale ERP transformation program.
• 12+ years of overall SAP experience
• Proven experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations and deployments
• Demonstrated success leading business readiness and go-live activities for ERP transformation programs
