Job Description:

SAP S/4 HANA Solution Architect

Location: St. Louis, Missouri OR Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)

Clearance: Active Secret clearance required

Role Overview

The Solution Architect will serve as the architecture representative for a specialized SAP S/4HANA environment. This role ensures that proposed business process changes, system enhancements, and cross-system initiatives are evaluated for impacts, risks, and dependencies. The position involves working with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to define end-to-end business processes and develop recommendations that align with program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in solution architect forums and design discussions.
  • Assess impacts, risks, and dependencies resulting from proposed business process and application changes.
  • Lead cross-functional business process definition and solution design activities across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and finance stakeholders.
  • Analyze business process gaps and develop solution alternatives and recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot business process, integration, and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
  • Provide solution architecture support for environment initiatives, enhancements, and deployments.
  • Collaborate with business, functional, technical, and integration teams to ensure alignment of solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA solution architecture supporting manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and project-based business processes.
  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA capabilities including Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Project Systems (PS), and MRP.
  • Understanding of PLM-to-S/4HANA integration and engineering-driven manufacturing environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional business process definition and solution design activities.
  • Experience assessing impacts across SAP and non-SAP integrated systems.
  • Experience developing solution alternatives to address business process gaps.
  • At least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation project experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Based in the St. Louis, MO area or Philadelphia, PA area. Willingness to travel weekly (Monday-Thursday) is also an option.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
  • Experience supporting project-based manufacturing or defense programs.
  • Experience with PLM integrations and manufacturing master data synchronization.
  • Experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
