SAP Functional Team Lead Consultant

Location: Remote, SC

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Team Lead Consultant to support enterprise financial and reporting initiatives within a large-scale SAP environment. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a highly analytical and collaborative professional with strong SAP functional expertise, Power BI dashboard development experience, and a proven background supporting financial operations and business process optimization.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to gather requirements, develop reporting solutions, configure SAP functionality, and deliver actionable financial insights through dashboards and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide SAP functional expertise and strategic support to project teams
  • Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Conduct interviews, planning sessions, and status meetings with stakeholders
  • Translate operational and financial processes into scalable SAP solutions
  • Develop business models, proof-of-concepts, dashboards, and reporting solutions
  • Create functional design specification documents and obtain stakeholder approvals
  • Coordinate with technical teams and business process owners to configure SAP solutions
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and analytics for large-scale vendor and financial datasets
  • Analyze vendor activity and identify opportunities for process and financial optimization
  • Support ACH processing workflows and SAP integrations
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and training sessions for IT teams and business users
  • Ensure deliverables are completed within project timelines and defined deadlines

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of Power BI experience
  • 5+ years of SAP Business Objects experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing Financial Dashboards in SAP
  • 5+ years of ACH processing and SAP interfacing experience
  • Strong SAP functional consulting background
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools including:
    • Excel
    • Word
    • Visio
    • Microsoft Project
  • Experience leading functional teams and mentoring peers
