Job Title: SAP FICO + Vertex Tax consultant
Location- Austin, TX ( Day one Onsite)
. 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Vertex O-Series in enterprise environments
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of Vertex configuration including Tax Assist rules, jurisdictions, rates, exemption certificates, and reporting
- Experience implementing Vertex in extremely high-volume transaction environments
- Hands-on Vertex configuration experience covering both digital services and physical goods tax scenarios
- Proven ability to integrate Vertex with SAP and custom application systems
- Experience defining integration standards including API contracts, payload structures, error handling frameworks, and monitoring strategies
- Solid engineering background with hands-on experience in API design, data mapping, JSON/XML transformations , and secure integrations
- Ability to define tax data flows, transaction mapping, and reconciliation controls across upstream and downstream systems
- Experience participating in architecture reviews and guiding engineering best practices
