Job Description:

  • Tech functional: SAP ECC MM or SAP ECC OTC
  • 24x7 Command Center Operations
  • Operate and manage the SAP Supply Chain Command Center on a 24x7 basis.
  • Monitor business-critical SAP Supply Chain applications, interfaces, integrations, batch jobs, middleware, cloud services, and infrastructure components.
  • Ensure continuous operational visibility across Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Supply Chain Planning processes.
  • Perform shift handoffs and maintain operational continuity across global support teams.
  • Monitoring and Event Management
  • Proactively monitor system health utilizing tools such as:
  • SAP Solution Manager, SAP Focused Run, Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, ServiceNow, Azure Monitor, Cloud-native monitoring platforms
  • Identify, triage, and prioritize incidents before they impact business operations.
  • Perform event correlation and root cause analysis.
  • Incident and Major Incident Management
  • Lead incident triage activities for Priority 1 through Priority 4 incidents.
  • Coordinate war rooms and bridge calls during major incidents.
  • Engage appropriate resolver groups and vendors.
  • Ensure SLA adherence for incident response and resolution.
  • Provide executive communications during critical business outages.
  • Problem Management
  • Drive root cause investigations for recurring incidents.
  • Identify operational trends and systemic issues.
  • Develop corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Track remediation activities through closure.
  • Business Operations Support
  • Support critical business events, product launches, financial close activities, inventory cycles, promotions, seasonal peaks, and supply chain transformations.
  • Monitor business transaction flows and key operational KPIs.
  • Escalate risks impacting revenue, customer experience, or operational performance.
  • Environment and Release Management
  • Coordinate environment availability and readiness activities.
  • Support code deployments, release validations, smoke testing, and production readiness reviews.
  • Manage environment calendars and maintenance windows.
  • Ensure successful implementation of changes with minimal business disruption.
  • Automation and Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for operational automation.
  • Implement self-healing and predictive monitoring capabilities.
  • Leverage AI and analytics to improve operational efficiency.
  • Reduce manual effort through automation of repetitive support activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across support processes.
  • Governance and Reporting
  • Prepare operational dashboards and executive reports.
