SAP ABAP Responsibilities
- Developed and maintained custom ABAP reports (Classical, Interactive, and ALV) based on business requirements.
- Designed and developed Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects such as tables, views, structures, domains, and data elements.
- Created and enhanced Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms for business documents.
- Developed interfaces using BAPI, RFC, IDoc, and web services for SAP and third-party system integration.
- Implemented enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and the Enhancement Framework.
- Developed Module Pool applications and custom dialog programs.
- Optimized ABAP programs by improving SQL queries, database access, and overall performance.
- Debugged and resolved issues in custom and standard SAP programs.
- Worked closely with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Performed unit testing, supported integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
- Managed transport requests across Development, Quality, and Production environments.
- Prepared technical specifications and maintained development documentation.
- Provided production support by troubleshooting defects and implementing timely fixes.
- Developed SAP HANA objects such as CDS Views and AMDPs, and created OData services for SAP Fiori applications (where applicable).
