Essential Functions:
• Use cleaning devices and/or chemical agents to sanitize production equipment or environment.
• Operate in alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
• Complete paperwork in accordance with cGMP and GDP requirements and guidelines.
• Understand equipment functionality, including parameters for cleaning and sanitizing, and perform inspections on cleaned equipment before use.
• Complete regular and unique training for specialized cleaning techniques, some of which are only used periodically.
• May operate vehicles such as forklift, floor scrubber, scissor lift, and/or boom lift in execution of duties.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area. ·
• Observe all safety, PPE, and quality procedures while completing required tasks. ·
• Other projects and duties as assigned, which may include weekly, monthly or annual reoccurring tasks to be completed during downtime. ·
• Regular attendance is necessary to perform job duties.
• Requires a High School Diploma or GED and one to three months of related experience and/or training in an active manufacturing environment.
• Experience in OTC and personal care bulk manufacturing is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of PPE requirements and potential safety risks of not adhering to PPE protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), etc.
• Ability to read and understand training for specialized processes and retain information.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written and oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must have basic knowledge of spreadsheets, email, and inventory/manufacturing software programs.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
