Sanitation Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead our sanitation team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in custodial management, particularly within commercial cleaning sectors. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations.

Duties

• Supervise and manage the sanitation staff to ensure effective cleaning operations throughout the facility.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for staff use.
• Enforce safety guidelines and ensure that all sanitation practices adhere to health regulations.
• Provide leadership in resolving any issues related to cleanliness or staff performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within hotel, hospitality, or commercial cleaning environments.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, including laundering techniques and cleaning chemicals.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and management.
