Sanitation Manager
The Sanitation Manager will lead all sanitation operations to ensure compliance with SQF/BRC standards, preventing contamination risks in a food production facility.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage sanitation operations, including wet and dry cleaning processes, allergen control procedures, and execution of the Master Sanitation Schedule
* Ensure full compliance with food safety and regulatory standards including SQF, BRC, FDA, and USDA requirements
* Oversee environmental monitoring activities such as ATP verification, microbiological testing, and EMP programs, while managing proper chemical handling and usage procedures
* Prepare for and coordinate audits while partnering with Quality Assurance and Production teams to support hygienic facility standards and employee food safety training initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in Sanitation or QA in a food manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of food safety, allergen control, environmental monitoring, etc.
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 10pm to 7am
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Relevant certifications (ex: HACCP, PCQI, SQF Practitioner, OSHA 30) are preferred
* Experience in a bakery or frozen food processing environment is preferred
