- Gain and maintain knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment required for maintaining store sanitation and food safety standards
- Monitor and control supply expenses for the Clean Team and overall store sanitation needs
- Maintain an awareness of inventory and orderliness conditions in Cleaning Center; note any discrepancies in inventory
- Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair
- Resolve customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional manner
- Manage the scheduling of Clean Team associates to provide adequate department coverage
- Understand the store's layout and have the ability to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify store management
- Notify management of customer or employee accidents
- Report all safety and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud
- Collaborate with team members to encourage teamwork and align the goals of the organization
- Ensure that the Clean Team associates are current and compliant with company training standards
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
