The Opportunity
Street Cart Bagels is hiring a Sandwich Line Cook (Assembly) for our fast-paced morning shift.
This is a sandwich assembly position no scratch cooking required. All ingredients are prepped ahead of time. Your role is to assemble sandwiches accurately, toast bagels and breads, heat proteins to proper temperature, restock the line, and help keep orders moving quickly during peak morning rush.
If you work well under pressure and can keep up with a strong morning flow, we want you on our team.

What You ll Do
- Assemble breakfast and lunch sandwiches according to order tickets
- Toast bagels and breads to quality standards
- Heat pre-cooked proteins and ingredients to proper temperature
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and presentation with every order
- Read and execute tickets quickly and correctly
- Maintain composure and accuracy during high-volume rushes
- Communicate clearly with team members to keep orders flowing
- Restock sandwich line with prepped ingredients throughout shift
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when items run low
- Keep workstation clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Run completed orders to the counter when needed
- Double-check orders for accuracy before sending out
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties
What We re Looking For
- Ability to consistently work a 5:00 AM start time
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 30 40 lbs
- Previous sandwich shop, deli, or quick-service experience preferred (but not required)
- Weekend availability preferred
