Responsibilities:
- Follow preparation techniques for processing samples for lab testing, including using grinding mills and other comminution techniques.
- Ensure accurate labeling of sample cups with unique identifiers.
- Record sample preparation techniques and delivery details into LIMS software.
- Split role between sample processing and dishroom lab area, maintaining glassware cleanliness.
- Maintain organizational structure of samples and execute submission requests through third-party labs.
- Follow all lab safety and quality requirements and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a lab setting and/or an AS or BS in a science-related field.
- Ability to use multiple computer systems (LIMS, Microsoft Office).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Able to lift 40 pounds and stand for 5-6 hours daily.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
