Sample Librarian Holly Hunt Enterprises, Inc. Reports to: Showroom General ManagerPosition Profile The Sample Librarian is responsible to filling and maintaining all memo samples keeping inventory levels current and ensures clients receive missing requests as quickly as possible. They are also responsible for maintaining the textile area including displays and pricing on the showroom floor. This is a fast-paced position, you are on your feet most of the day.Primary Responsibilities Fill sample requests and order missing samples for clientsMaintain sample room inventory; keep all inventory levels current and order samplesMaintain fabric area on showroom floor. Merchandise fabrics, create displays, hang new items and remove discontinued itemsMaintain textile price list and all changesMaintain shopping bags, pencils, and memo pads and ensure sales floor is well stocked, reorder when neededHandle client/sales associate requests both over the phone and in person with pricing, sample request and product identificationAssist Outside Sale Associate by sending tear sheets, memo samples, etc., as directed to the clientMaintain marketing and sales tools throughout the showroom and reorder when neededMaintain tear sheet library inventory to current levels and reorder when neededShipping and receiving responsibilities for showroom packagesOrder office supplies as neededAssure marketing materials are placed in every shopping bag and reorder materials as neededAnswer telephones as neededMaintain showroom floor appearanceBe a team playerAcknowledge every client that comes into the showroomMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required1-2 years working in a retail, design, or showroom environmentAbility to multitaskExcellent communication skills both written and verbalSome lifting (20-50 lbs max)Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/OutlookWho We Hire?
