Our BC client is seeking a visionary yet grounded Salesforce Technical Architect to serve as the primary technical authority for a high-visibility, 3-year strategic Graduate Student Experience Transformation Project. This initiative is aimed at re-architecting the graduate journey across the entire institution.

As we move toward a broader Coordinated Student Success roadmap, this architect will be instrumental in defining a scalable, multi-cloud ecosystem including Education, Experience, Marketing, and Data Clouds. While initially a 3-year term, there is a clear path to build a business case for an ongoing role as the candidate demonstrates impact and the platform expands institution-wide.

Position Overview

  • Term: 3-Year Strategic Term (with strong potential for conversion to ongoing based on performance and platform expansion)

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (50% on-site in Vancouver)

  • The Mission: Transition from fragmented legacy processes to a unified, student-centric digital ecosystem.

Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Governance

  • Serve as the "Architect-Governor," holding external implementation partners accountable for ROI and technical integrity.

  • Ensure all technical solutions remain sustainable, cost-effective, and aligned with long-term institutional goals.

  • Translate enterprise architecture standards into detailed technical designs.
Technical Design & Data Mastery

  • Architect the Salesforce Data 360 foundation to support a comprehensive "Student 360" view.

  • Manage complex integrations between Salesforce instances and other mission-critical enterprise systems.

  • Lead the technical design for a multi-cloud environment (Education, Experience, Marketing, and Data Clouds).
Technical Oversight

  • Provide expert-level guidance on OmniStudio, Apex, LWC, and Flow.

  • Review code and configuration to ensure best practices are followed by internal and external teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certification:Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is required.

  • Technical Depth: Expert-level knowledge of the Salesforce programmatic and declarative stacks.

  • Industry Experience: Deep experience in Higher Education or a similarly complex, federated enterprise environment is highly preferred.

  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
